Sebastien Haller, player of Borussia Dortmund, suffers from testicular cancer as published by the German team through an official statement on its website.
The striker who signed this season from Ajax began to feel discomfort after training last Monday morning during the team's concentration in Switzerland and after several medical tests it was discovered that he has a tumor in his testicles. Over the next few days, medical tests will continue to be carried out to find out the extent of the disease.
"These shocking news came as a shock today to Sebastien Haller and all of us. The entire BVB family wishes Sebastien a full recovery as soon as possible and that we can hug him again soon. We will do everything in our power to ensure that he receives the best possible treatment," said BVB sporting director Sebastian Kehl.
Borussia Dortmund has requested that the privacy of the player and his family be respected and that they not ask questions at the moment and that as soon as news arrives, the German team will report on the footballer's state of health.
