Bastian Schweinsteiger was in total agreement with Piers Morgan as both men were left baffled that Cristiano Ronaldo wasn't awarded a penalty on Sunday afternoon.
Manchester United needed a late goal from Jesse Lingard to see off West Ham at the London Stadium.
Ronaldo drew the Red Devils level after they'd fallen behind, but the Portuguese star will feel aggrieved he wasn't handed a chance to double his tally from the spot.
Three Hammers defenders all clashed with Ronaldo in the box, but none were penalised.
Morgan, himself an Arsenal fan, took to Twitter to lament the fact United's returning star saw several appeals waved away by referee Martin Atkinson.
The former Man Utd man made his feelings clear
He said: "Ronaldo deserved at least 2 and probably all 3 penalties. Absurd refereeing. But he scored again, as he has in every game of his comeback. Incredible. So good to have him back in the Premier League."
Schweinsteiger, who played at United previously, also felt the man in the middle missed a stonewall penalty.
"By the way... Clear penalty on @Cristiano after the tackle of @KurtZoum," he said on social media.
Ronaldo's frustrations were evident after several appeals were turned down.
United needed David de Gea to save a stoppage time penalty after Luke Shaw was deemed to have handled the ball late on.
Mark Noble came off the bench but missed from 12 yards.
After the clash Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was keen to watch his words but made it clear he felt his side were hard done by.

He said: "I'm going to be careful with what I'm saying, but you've got to be wondering what's he's got to do to get a penalty. The first [obstruction by Coufal] and the third [tackle by Ogbonna] is 100 per cent nailed on.
"The one where he gets pulled back backstick [by Cresswell] is probably [not obvious], but it's still a foul, he gets pulled down in the box. It's frustrating but they've got to look at it. It's two clear penalties.
"I think they're stonewall. You can't even argue against them. The first one, he puts his foot out and Ronaldo runs straight and is fouled. The last one, Paul had a foul against him on Zouma when he didn't touch him but he went over him.
"Why is Cristiano's not? Hopefully it won't be that he's never going to get a penalty."
On West Ham's penalty he added: "Even though it's from half a yard away and it's clipped up, Luke probably makes himself bigger which is probably their reasoning for giving the penalty.
"It's one of them: do they want the defenders to just have their arms behind the back? You can't defend properly then, can you?
