Coutinho twisted the knife with two late goals against his parent club in Bayern's huge 8-2 win over Barca last night, to knock them out of the Champions League quarter-finals.
And it could get even worse for the Catalans, as according to The Mirror, they would have to pay Liverpool a bonus as part of their deal to sign Coutinho from the Reds in 2018.
It is understood the bonus is specific to the player and not the club, so even if Coutinho lifts the trophy with the Germans, Barcelona would still have to pay up.
Meanwhile, Coutinho sent a rather funny tweet back in 2011 - which some are saying foreshadowed Bayern Munich's thumping win.
Hi. Today we had a game against the junior team. I scored two goals. Now at home watching a movie. bye

Following the final whistle, fans dug out the above tweet.
It reads: "H i. Today we had a game against the junior team. I scored two goals. Now at home watching a movie. Bye."
The uncanny post was sent on September 3, 2011.
At this time, Coutinho was still developing as a 19-year-old at Inter Milan.
Barcelona could face the embarrassing prospect of having to pay Liverpool £4.5million if Philippe Coutinho wins the Champions League this season… with Bayern Munich.
