Heath has won a range of silverware in a glittering career to date, which has included winning the World Cup and Olympic gold on two separate occasions with the USA.
She was also named in FIFPro's Women's World XI in 2020 and last year she turned one of her childhood dreams into reality by signing for the Gunners after leaving Women's Super League rivals Manchester United at the end of her contract.
Heath has been an Arsenal fan ever since she was a youngster and says it is a special feeling playing for the club she supports.
"I just loved watching Arsenal as a kid," she explained.
"Every single year I used to get the new team poster that I would put up above the old team poster in my room. Special players like Henry, Vieira, Cesc [Fabregas] [were great]. I loved the Invincibles. I loved the way that they played and then the results that came with that style and Arsene [Wenger] and his philosophy was just brilliant.
"You think of players and coaches that have changed the evolution of football and this club is just iconic for it. Obviously that started the way that I feel about the club and now it's a unique and special experience to be here as a fan."
Arsenal are currently five points clear of reigning champions Chelsea at the top of the table and have shown real grit to fight back and earn results against the likes of Manchester United and Man City recently.
The Gunners have played some really attractive football this season and Heath believes new boss Jonas Eidevall has instilled a real winning spirit within the side.
She continued: "I think from a club level, this is by far the most talented team I've ever been a part of. Talent and potential are worth nothing unless you actually win something. So, it doesn't necessarily equate to something that will get written down in the history books, which is something we intend to do.
"It's clear that we have a manager who is ambitious and hungry to win and to get the team playing in an Arsenal way to win. So, I think he's brought a lot of new ideas and new energy that has lifted the group and given a lot of belief."
Women's football is only heading in one direction in the UK, with the WSL enjoying its most competitive season to date and a host of exciting young players starting to come through.
The WSL has also been boosted by new broadcast deals in the last year which, alongside Barclays' sponsorship of the league, has opened up women's football to a whole new audience.
But that level of backing hasn't been replicated in other countries across the word and Heath feels there is still more work to be done on the commercial side of the game.
"I think we should just start with the standards within the workplace to create an actual professional environment for women and young girls to aspire to be and to have more fixtures and games that are celebrating and showing the belief in women's football, like games at the Camp Nou or the Emirates," she finished.
"There's so many business opportunities within women's football that aren't even being tapped into. Women's football deserves the incredible."
