Mikel Arteta's men restored their place at the top of the Premier League as they breezed to a 3-0 win at the Brentford Community Stadium.

However, what happened on Twitter arguably caused more of a stir with Gabriel tweeting: "Nice kick about with the boys."
This was in reference to Toney tweeting these exact words when the Bees beat Arsenal on the opening night of last season.
Footage from Arsenal's Amazon All or Nothing documentary showed Arteta using it as a means to motivate his players for the return fixture at the Emirates Stadium, which Arsenal won 2-1.

And in their first trip to Brentford's home since that night in August 2021, Gabriel decided to have one more nibble at Toney.
Toney has since said he found Gabriel's tweet 'cringey', although he admits he wanted to respond to the Brazilian.
But Goldstein has taken a dim view on it, while Arsenal fan Bent admits Gabriel's reaction was 'over the top.'

"Putting them back in their box, that's what Arsenal are doing," Bent said on Drivetime.
"Brentford have been fantastic since they've been back in the Premier League and you know what it's like, it's like David vs Goliath and Brentford won the first one.
"It's a little bit over the top, you have to say. But I've got no problem with it."
"If my club, Manchester United, beat Brentford and I saw Cristiano Ronaldo or Bruno Fernandes send 'Nice kick about with the boys' I'd be quite embarrassed actually now that I think about it," Goldstein added.

"I'd be embarrassed about it. They shouldn't be on our radar.
"If my club did it I'd be embarrassed, you [Bent] should be embarrassed!
"I reckon Arsenal fans will be embarrassed about it."
