The 34-year-old came on as a second-half substitute vs Giresunspor
Arda Turan made his return to action for Galatasaray on Saturday, but the 34-year-old made headlines for all the wrong reasons.
After not playing for many months, the former Atletico Madrid and Barcelona playmaker appeared to be carrying some extra weight as Galatasaray lost 1-0 at home to Giresunspor.
Turan last played back on August 19 and had been out with an ankle ligament injury, but it appears as though he will have to go through a fitness regime in order to lose some of the weight he has put on.
The midfielder, who turns 35 on January 30, returned to Galatasaray in 2020.
