Aaron Ramsdale was keen to rub salt in the wounds of Leeds United fans at Elland Road.
The goalkeeper was part of the Gunners side that eased to a 4-1 victory in Yorkshire.
And he showed his joy as he celebrated in front of the Leeds faithful when Emile Smith Rowe scored the visitors' fourth.
His reaction was inevitably met with angry remarks from the Elland Road crowd.
Ramsdale was beaten in the second-half by a Raphinha penalty, but the game was as good as won.
Leeds boss Marcelo Bielsa was without 10 first team stars, including Kalvin Phillips and Patrick Bamford, as their woes continued.
Arsenal were three goals to the good at the interval which all but sealed the contest.

The north Londoners are now up to fourth, a position they will occupy at Christmas due to the postponements of games for those around them.
Mikel Arteta's side continued to build momentum following wins against West Ham United and Southampton in the past eight days.
Ramsdale has been key for the Gunners after his signing was originally met with plenty of questioning.
Arsenal have not finished in the top four since 2016 but Arteta has seen his side recover from a slow start to be back in contention.
He said after the win: "I am very, very happy with the performance and the result, the week that we had and the direction that this team is moving forwards in.
"It's always very difficult to play against them when you look at any game that they've played.
"Obviously, at the Etihad, it was a different story but when they played at Stamford Bridge... Opponents they play this season know the game that they are going to face.
"It wasn't any different [today]. They never gave up in the second half and it's a team that I really like and I'm pleased because it's not easy to play the way that we have done today, in this atmosphere and against this opponent, so I think it was a very strong statement from the team.
He continued: "We are there (in the top four) now, but it's still a long, long season to go ahead with a lot of unpredictable things probably that are going to happen, but we are there.
"We want to continue that and we want to continue improving and playing better and better and then let's see where we get."
