AC Milan release new kit collection that will make you think of Maldini, Baggio and Weah

The Italian giants won their 15th Serie A title that year, with Fabio Capello at the helm and the likes of Paulo Maldini, Roberto Baggio and, George Weah donning the now-iconic shirts.

The 1995/96 season is also remembered as the first in which Serie A footballers wore personalised shirts with their surnames and squad numbers on the back.

The home kit - the iconic red and black - was worn when Milan were crowned champions of Italy that season after a 3-1 win over Fiorentina.

The white away strip was also was named in the top five nicest AC Milan kits in history by NSS Sports and has become a must-have for kit collectors.

The yellow third kit is also loved by Milan fans, after it was worn when the Rossoneri won the European Super Cup in 1994 when they beat Arsenal.

The likes of Marcel Desailly and Franco Baresi featured as they beat the Gunners 2-0 at the San Siro.

A certain Patrick Vieira also wore the shirts, too - albeit only five times - before his move to Highbury where he became one of the Premier League club's all-time greats.

Whilst they are currently failing to hit the heights that they did in the 1990s, Milan are currently joint-top of Serie A and are looking to win their first Scudetto since 2011.
