The Englishman has enjoyed a resurgence since joining the Blues on loan from Manchester United in the summer, most recently scoring in their 4-3 comeback win over Tottenham to help his side climb to second in the Premier League.
This was Sancho's second goal in as many games, having opened his Chelsea account days earlier in a 5-1 demolition of Southampton.
The 24-year-old's form this season means that he has already surpassed his six goal contributions for the whole of last campaign, providing two goals and five assists in all competitions so far.
Sancho endured a difficult time at Old Trafford following his £73million arrival from Borussia Dortmund in 2021, scoring just 12 goals in 83 appearances altogether.
In his final season at the club, he had a public falling out with then-manager Erik ten Hag and was loaned back to Dortmund.

But the England international has shown shown glimpses of his true potential since his loan move to Stamford Bridge, which comes with an obligation to make the switch permanent for £25m next summer.
And former Chelsea defender Cundy believes that this could prove to be a fantastic piece of business for the Blues.
Speaking on Inside Chelsea, he hailed the wingers recent displays: "Jadon Sancho is starting to show what he's got ability-wise.
"He's had a bit of a tricky career, if you think about how it's gone. Brilliant at Dortmund. Obviously, a huge transfer fee during COVID, they wanted north of £110m. Man United didn't pay it. They paid about £75m, I believe.

"The £25m that we paid, or will be paying, that is not a risk. For a young English player, that is not a risk.
"And there is still more to come. And again, [Enzo] Maresca needs a huge amount of credit."
Against Spurs, Sancho got Chelsea back into he game with a fine solo effort, pulling the score back to 2-1 after his side had gone two goals down inside the opening 15 minutes.
And talkSPORT's Cundy hailed his performance, saying: "He was excellent. Him and [Marc] Cucurella linked up really well.
He added: "That goal [Sancho's], you can't underestimate how big it is. I think if you go in at halftime 2-0 down, the two managers have two very different team talks."
He later added: "I think there's only more to come from him, and I'm excited about what we're going to see."
It wasn't just the talkSPORT presenter who was quick to welcome Sancho's permanent arrival next summer either.
Appearing alongside Cundy was Chelsea fan Matisse Armani, who also felt that the Blues will get their money's worth with the cut-price fee they are set to pay for the England international.
When asked by host Leonie Carpenter if £25m for Sancho would be a bargain for the club, his reply was instant: "100 per cent."
Explaining the winger's value to the team, he continued: "Two goals in the last two games, Southampton and Tottenham.
"If he starts to really get confident in front of goal, taking those shots, then we've got a really good player on our hands.
"I think with Sancho, it was never a question of how good he was technically, it was just mentally - is he ready to play at this level, with this pressure in the Premier League and be consistent and prove Manchester United wrong?
"And at the moment, he's doing that."
