Lionel Messi, Sergio Busquets and Jordi Alba have recently joined Inter Miami, and Suarez is seemingly keen to link up with his former Barcelona teammates.
Inter Miami have the capacity to recruit the veteran striker after buying an additional international spot from San Jose Earthquakes for $150,000 (£117k).
The Uruguay international is currently with Brazilian club Gremio after joining on a two-year contract earlier this year.
According to ESPN Brasil, via talkSPORT, Suarez has indicated that he wants to leave the club and is willing to buy out his contract to sign with Inter Miami.
The 36-year-old is prepared to repay the salary he has earned so far in 2023, and it is believed that a fee of around $10m (£7.8m) would allow him to cancel his contract.
Meanwhile, Wolverhampton Wanderers forward Raul Jimenez has reportedly completed a medical ahead of his proposed move to Fulham.
A recent report claimed that Fulham were on the verge of reaching an agreement with Wolves over a £5.5m transfer for Jimenez.
With only 12 months left to run on the player's contract, Wolves are willing to let the Mexico international leave this summer.
According to journalist Fabrizio Romano, Jimenez has completed his medical and it is only a matter of time before he is unveiled as a new Fulham player.
The striker is set to leave Wolves after scoring 57 goals and providing 24 assists in 166 games across all competitions.
The 32-year-old could be a replacement for Aleksandr Mitrovic, who is pushing to join Saudi Pro League side Al-Hilal.
Over in Italy, Serie A giants Inter Milan have reportedly had a bid rejected for Aston Villa goalkeeper Emiliano Martinez.
Inter are on the lookout for a new shot-stopper following the departure of Andre Onana, who recently completed a £43m move to Manchester United.
According to TyC Sports, Inter have identified Martinez as a potential target, and they saw their first bid of £13m rejected by Aston Villa.
The report states that the Italian side are set to return with an improved offer and are hopeful that a deal can be agreed.
Martinez, who has also attracted interest from Chelsea, is under contract with Unai Emery's side until the summer of 2027.
Since joining Aston Villa from Arsenal in 2020, the World Cup winner has gone on to make 112 appearances in all competitions.
Meanwhile, in the Championship, Sunderland have reportedly agreed a deal to sign goalkeeper Nathan Bishop from Manchester United.
Sunderland are looking to bring in cover for their undisputed number one Anthony Patterson after allowing Alex Bass to join AFC Wimbledon on loan earlier this summer.
According to the Northern Echo, the Black Cats have reached an agreement with Man United to sign Bishop on a permanent deal.
The transfer is expected to be completed once the 23-year-old returns from Man United's pre-season tour of the USA.
Bishop joined the Red Devils from Southend United in January 2020, but he has failed to make a senior appearance during his time with the club.
After spending the 2021-22 season on loan with Mansfield Town, Bishop returned to Man United and went on to feature in nine games for the Under-21 side last season.
