Riot police lined the Champs-Elysees in Paris following trouble earlier in the tournament, but it was in the streets of Montpellier where footage emerged of a young boy being run down by a car following France's 2-0 win.

A shocking video shows the moment a group of who appear to be Morocco fans gather around a car flying the French flag out of its window down the Rue de la Mosson in the city.
The footage then seems to show the group attempt to rip the flag off the car, causing a panicked reaction from the driver.
The car can be seen performing a U-turn to get away from the group, amidst a huge crowd descending the street.

A teenage boy was caught under the wheels of the vehicle and sustained serious injuries, with authorities later confirming he had died in hospital.
The car was later found abandoned.
It's not the first time post-match scenes have turned ugly in France during this World Cup.

On Saturday, 20,000 Morocco fans descended on the Champs-Elysees following their quarter-final win over Portugal, to celebrate becoming the first African and Arab nation to ever make it to a World Cup semi-final.
But fights broke out between supporters and riot police, who fired tear gas into the crowds.
It is reported that around 100 people were arrested after shops were damaged and cars set alight in the French capital.
Police appeared to be more prepared in Paris on Wednesday night, with police vans and barricades lining the streets.

There were similarly unsavoury scenes in Nice, where fans were seen fighting in the streets and throwing flares at each other, with police using batons and water cannons to quell the storm.
There were also reports of violence in Belgium, with a group of around 100 supposed Morocco fans gathering near Brussels South station to launch fireworks and other missiles at lines of police in riot gear - with the coppers also firing tear gas to disperse the crowd.
