Having failed to win any of the last five meetings between the sides, Sebastian Mendez's men will head into the weekend looking to get one over the visitors.

Buoyed by their victory over Sarmiento, Independiente will head into the weekend with renewed belief as they look to put together a fine run of form. Zielinski's men have enjoyed the better of this fixture, and given Union's current struggles at home, we predict that they will claim all three points at the Estadio 15 de Abril.

Lanus vs. Talleres (Sunday, 12.00am)

Two teams enjoying a decent run of results go head-to-head on Sunday, as Lanus welcome Talleres to Estadio Nestor Diaz Perez in round 21 of the Argentine Primera Division,

The hosts are unbeaten in all but one of their last 12 games, while the away side head into this one on a run of six wins from seven matches across all competitions.

Both Lanus and Talleres have shown they have goals in them, so we are expecting neither to come away with a clean sheet. That said, we can see the teams having to make do with a point apiece in what should be an entertaining share of the spoils.
