Liverpool have been dealt another injury blow as Andy Robertson limped off for Scotland against Denmark.
Steve Clarke's men secured a 2-0 win over the Danes to secure a runner-up finish in their World Cup qualifying group.
But the Reds will be sweating over the fitness of left-back Robertson who looks to have suffered a suspected hamstring injury.
The Scotland skipper went down to the turf clutching his leg on the 79th minute and had to be taken off as he was replaced by Scott McKenna.
It's another injury for the Reds who now have nine players on the sidelines.
Hamstring injuries seem to be a common theme for Jurgen Klopp 's men, as well, as Bobby Firmino, Naby Keita, Jordan Henderson, James Milner join Robertson on the treatment table with the same problem.
Sadio Mane is also on the sidelines with a rib issue, while Joe Gomez is out with a foot injury.
Curtis Jones is also a doubt for the upcoming Premier League clash against Arsenal after getting scratched in the eye in training.
Harvey Elliott provided Liverpool with a timely boost, however, as he returned to training just two months after dislocating his ankle against Leeds.
The 18-year-old was pictured running outside the Reds training complex in Kirby on Monday morning as he ramps up his bid to return to full fitness.
There is no timetable for his return, but there is hope he could play before the end of the season.
And Milner has praised the youngster's mental strength following the horror injury.
He said: "He's been so positive from the start, to be honest.
"I was talking about mental strength before, as soon as it happened, the things he was saying, he talks like he's been through it all before and he's a 30-odd-year-old player.
"He's incredible. He's got a great mindset, he's done all his work, he's progressing really well. Not too far off getting rid of the crutches, I think, which is fantastic.
"He's working really hard and that's the thing that people don't see.
"They see the stuff in the gym and the videos, but at home now and he's on his crutches and he's doing band work and just lifting his leg up to keep the strength in his muscles.
"It's so boring and would be easy not to do, but that's the hard work that gives you the basis to push on through. He's doing really well and that's great to see."
