Steven Gerrard's side have endured a tough start to the group stages after falling to defeat in their opening two fixtures against Lyon and Sparta Prague.
On paper Danish side Brondby are perhaps the easiest opponent and so the focus will be eager to make home advantage count.
The Gers are sitting top of the Scottish Premiership following a 1-1 draw with Hearts at the weekend and they'll be hoping to record a much-needed win in front of their home crowd in Europe.

Rangers v Brondby: Team news
Steven Gerrard is expected to be without Ryan Kent and Ryan Jack for the Europa League clash.
He explained: "Everyone has got through the weekend. Ryan Kent is closer, but this game is a little bit too soon.
"Ryan Jack is progressing and should be back in training around the Aberdeen match."
Filip Helander is also set to miss out.
Brondby will be without first choice goalkeeper Mads Hermansen who will miss the clash with an ankle injury.
Rasmus Wikstrom is also out with a shoulder problem while Mathias Greve and Peter Bjur will also sit this one out.
Rangers v Brondby: What's been said?
Asked if this was a must-win game, Rangers boss Steven Gerrard said: "I don't mind if you put it that way.
"We want to try to win every game here at Rangers, no matter where we are sitting in the table, but having lost the first two games I think it is very important that we win this head-to-head (with Brondby).
"We have to take a minimum of four points, ideally we take six, so tomorrow we need a performance and result that is going to try to kickstart this campaign.
"I don't think our two performances have been miles away, but it is a results business and to get out of the group you need results, we are well aware of that.
"If that adds a little bit more pressure going into tomorrow's game and people on the outside want to make it a must-win game, we are OK with that."
