The visitors, who currently occupy the one and only relegation place, will be targeting their second win of the Women's Super League season.
Match preview
Liverpool ended a run of four consecutive defeats in all competitions with a 2-0 victory over Reading last Sunday.
Missy Bo Kearns opened the scoring just after the hour mark, and Ceri Holland wasted little time in adding a second that made sure of the three points.
While their overall form has been underwhelming, Liverpool have now only lost one of their last five games in the WSL.
After winning promotion to the top flight last term the Reds will be looking to avoid an immediate return to the second tier and with eight points separating them from basement side Leicester, a win on Sunday would go a long way to securing their top flight status.
Although the two sides are yet to meet in the league this season, the Reds recorded a comfortable 4-0 victory over the Foxes in October's League Cup game, which will inspire optimism in the Liverpool squad ahead of Sunday's encounter.
Leicester claimed their first points of the season in January thanks to a commanding 3-0 win against Brighton & Hove Albion.
Since that victory, the Foxes have been knocked out of the League Cup and FA Cup by Manchester City and Reading respectively, although they lost to Royals on penalties following a 2-2 draw.
They were also beaten by Man City again last weekend, with the league meeting ending in a 2-0 defeat, which leaves the Foxes four points adrift of safety.
Leicester hold two games in hand over Reading, who are one place above them in the League table, but they will need to add to the one league victory they have recorded this term if they are to stand any chance of closing the gap Kelly Chambers's side.
Having lost their last eight consecutive away games in the topflight, Leicester will be keen to end their away day blues with a crucial win on Sunday.

Goalkeeper Janina Leitzig has impressed since joining on loan from Bayern Munich in January, and she pulled off 15 saves last weekend to keep Man City down to just two goals, but the 23-year-old will be hoping to experience a quieter afternoon on Sunday.
