The hosts enter Sunday's contest in 13th place, while Giresunspor sit five points adrift of their opponents in 15th position.
Match preview
Hatayspor have failed to match the heights of last season's sixth place finish, but they could still improve on their current league position on the final weekend of the season.
Although a top half finish is still possible, Hatayspor will be disappointed about how their season has fallen away.
After 29 games, Sunday's hosts sat just one point behind the top four, but an eight-game winless run has seen them plummet down the Turkish Super Lig table.
They head into the final weekend off the back of an away defeat to Konyaspor last weekend, with goals from Zymer Bytyqi, Konrad Michalak and Koka condemning Hatayspor to a 3-1 loss on that occasion.
Although they may be winless in their previous four home matches, Omer Erdogan's side can take comfort from the fact that they have lost just once in their last nine home league games.
The visitors, meanwhile, will be pleased with their efforts this term, with their place in the Turkish Super Lig already guaranteed for next season.
After winning promotion to the top flight last term, Giresunspor's main objective for the campaign would have been to stave off relegation.
With the four relegated sides already confirmed, Hakan Keles's charges have achieved the goal they set at the start of the campaign.
Their top flight status may be secured, but Giresunspor will be keen to end the season by extending their current unbeaten run to four matches.
They will also believe that they have the capabilities to find the net after scoring in each of their last six away games.

Team News
Kamil Ahmet Corekci has missed the last four matches due to a muscle problem, and the defender is expected to remain absent for the final games of the season.
The 30-year-old is joined on the sidelines by Adama Traore, while the hosts will also be without the services of Mame Biram Diouf, who is suspended due to an accumulation of yellow cards.
With Diouf unable to feature, Hatayspor will be forced into a change upfront, with Bertug Yildirim set to be given a starting place.
As for the visitors, Sergen Picinciol and Alexis Perez are suspended due to yellow card accumulation.
The suspensions could present Fatih Yilmaz and Emre Tasdemir with starting opportunities.
Giresunspor's main goal threat will come from Umut Nayir, who will be looking to add to the seven league goals he has scored this season.
