Mexico star Vega bursts into tears during impassioned rendition of national anthem

The stage of the World Cup all got a little too much for one Mexico player, who began crying during the national anthem.

Alexis Vega, one of Mexico's main attacking players, was overcome with emotion as tears rolled down his face as he belted out an impassioned rendition of the anthem.

A player for Mexican side CD Guadalajara, the 24-year-old has made 22 appearances for his country but clearly takes pride in turning out in the Green of Mexico.

With Argentina slipping up against Saudi Arabia on Tuesday morning, Vega will be hoping to get a much-needed three points against Poland to put them in a strong spot in Group C.
