Former Arsenal star Mesut Ozil wasted no time in hailing Scotland for their fine performance in their goalless draw with England.
Steve Clarke's side earned a point in their Euro 2020 group stage clash at Wembley, keeping their own hopes of qualification alive.
England struggled to create chances throughout the game at Wembley, with captain Harry Kane substituted after 74 minutes following a dismal display in front of goal.
Ex-Arsenal playmaker Ozil was watching on, and he hailed Scotland's display with none other than a reference to Braveheart.
Ozil tweeted "William Wallace's soul all over Wembley tonight" with a gif of Mel Gibson in his famous role, and unsurprisingly it went down well on social media.
Ian Wright, another former Arsenal man, was left disappointed with England's display.
On Kane's struggles, he said during ITV's coverage: I think it's plain to see that he doesn't look at his best.
"Let's face it. You're looking at the chances created, Reece James coming into the team, one of the best crossers from his position, hardly any crosses, not enough balls into the last third for people to play.
"Why has he taken Foden off for? There's no way Phil Foden should be leaving the pitch today, for me. It's very disappointing to see.
"You've got someone like Jadon Sancho on the bench, 16 goals, 20 assists this season - he doesn't even get on and we need to create.
"We can talk about Harry Kane and the chances he could have had, or how many touches he hasn't had, but at the same time, did we really create enough?"
Former Manchester United midfielder Roy Keane also laid into Kane's display.
"He doesn't look up to speed," he said.
"He's on his heels all the time and if England really want to compete in this competition, you need your star men to perform.
"I'm glad Gareth took him off - there's talk about him being undroppable, he's the main man, if he's not performing, get him off.
"Rashford gave them a little bit more energy, but still not enough.
"Before the competition, there was all the talk of him might be leaving Spurs and maybe he's been distracted by that because that can be an energy zapper, if you thinking you're moving clubs or if you're in talks with other clubs, that's not helpful."
