Having seen Raphael Varane and Willy Kambwala depart, the Red Devils made a much-needed defensive addition earlier this month, recruiting Yoro in a £58.9m deal from French side Lille.
Yoro made his first Man United appearance in a friendly against Rangers, before he started Saturday's clash against Arsenal in the first match of the pre-season tour of the USA.
However, the new summer signing was only able to last 35 minutes before he was forced off and replaced by Rhys Bennett.
Man United boss Erik ten Hag admitted Yoro will have to be assessed to establish the extent of the apparent ankle issue.
Man United receive Lindelof injury boost
While there will be concerns over Yoro's injury, Man United have received a boost with the news that Lindelof is back in full training.
The Sweden international sat out Man United's first three friendlies against Rosenborg, Rangers and Arsenal in order to build up his fitness ahead of the new season.
However, the 30-year-old is now back in full training at Man United's UCLA base in California, suggesting that he could be available for the forthcoming friendlies.
The Red Devils will face Spanish side Real Betis on Wednesday, before they conclude their pre-season tour with a game against rivals Liverpool.
Could Lindelof leave this summer?
Lindelof's current focus will be on getting some valuable minutes under his belt, but he will be aware of the speculation surrounding his Man United future.
The centre-back, who joined the club in 2017, has entered the final 12 months of his contract and has been linked with a move away to free up funds and space for new additions.
Although Man United have already signed Yoro, they are still looking to add at least one centre-back to their squad, having identified Bayern Munich's Matthijs de Ligt and Everton's Jarrad Branthwaite as potential targets.
The Red Devils remain in talks to sign De Ligt as well as his Bayern teammate Noussair Mazraoui, who is viewed as a potential replacement for Aaron Wan-Bissaka.
