Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic we've already seen a number of fixtures called off as teams get to grips with outbreaks in the squads.
As it stands the tally of postponed games stands at 20 across the Premier League and English Football League.
Two matches in the Premier League have already been affected with Liverpool v Leeds United and Wolves v Watford falling foul to the pandemic.
In the Championship, six fixtures have already fallen, including Fulham v Birmingham City, Millwall v Swansea City, Peterborough United v Reading
Five fixtures in League One are off with Portsmouth v Oxford United, Gillingham v Ipswich and Sheffield Wednesday v Burton the highest-profile games called off while seven League Two fixtures have also been called off.
More fixtures are expected to be added to the list and with a hectic schedule over the winter period it's likely that further matchdays could be affected by the most recent outbreak.
