Liverpool have been sent a warning in the form of Luis Suarez ahead of their Champions League clash with Atletico Madrid on Tuesday.
Jurgen Klopp and co return to the Wanda Metropolitano for the first time since June 2019, when the Reds won their sixth European Cup, with the aim of extending their lead at the top of Group B.
However, this time they will face the stadium's residents, who claimed the La Liga crown last season and are looking to retain their title as champions of Spain amid their continental exploits, currently two points behind Tuesday's visitors.
Suarez scored 21 goals in 32 league appearances as Diego Simeone 's side topped the table in May, picking up his 14th trophy since leaving Anfield for Barcelona in 2014 after three-and-a-half star-making years on Merseyside.
And according to manager Simeone, the striker has returned to his current club with "great enthusiasm" following his three-game international break for Uruguay.

The match will be the first time the two teams have faced off since the days prior to the UK's first lockdown.
Atletico recorded a famous 3-2 victory at Anfield in March 2020 and dumped Liverpool out at the round-of-16.
Simeone perfected a successful game plan 19 months ago but admits the Reds remain "very difficult" opposition.
" Chelsea, [Manchester] City, Liverpool are all fantastic but watching Liverpool is a real pleasure," the Argentine stated.
"They press high, play a high line, they have no fear of leaving spaces at the back.
"They have very quick players to go on the break.
"With [Virgil] van Dijk now [back from injury] they have improved their solidity in defence.
Will Suarez score against his former club on Tuesday? Let us know your prediction here.
"I don't expect anything other than a team who will make things very difficult for us.
"We will try and find a way to hurt them, we need to match their intensity and will look to create our own chances."
But his Los Rojiblancos side could be missing three players.
Centre-back Jose Gimenez, dynamic wing-back Marcos Llorente and back-up forward Matheus Cunha will all face a late fitness tests.
Former City defender Stefan Savic is still serving his four-match suspension, having been sent off against Chelsea last term when his side were knocked out.
That could see England full-back Kieran Trippier start in Llorente's place, while Suarez is set to parter Antoine Griezmann up front in their 3-5-2 formation.
But Simeone could boast an advantage over Klopp, with his squad enjoying a free weekend.
Their league match at Granada on Sunday was postponed as Atletico had a number of players returning from international duty in South America on Friday, such as Suarez.
Liverpool, however, had to plough on as they made the trip to Watford on Saturday without Brazil duo Alisson and Fabinho.
Ahead of the 5-0 romp, Klopp told reporters: "The problem is when I answer it sounds like I'm frustrated. I'm not.
"We have no chance, obviously. Brazil played last night, it's not in our hands. You have a big squad but not for FA decisions.
"Atletico don't play at the weekend, that'd never happen here!"
