Juventus had the last laugh after they were taunted with Cristiano Ronaldo 's celebration to claim their first league win of the season at Spezia on Wednesday.

Opposition winger Emmanuel Gyasi equalised in the first half and brought out the iconic stance.

The Old Lady ran out 3-2 winners against the team who were promoted to the top flight in 2020, managed by former Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Thiago Motta.

Juventus entered the match third-bottom of the league table after Ronaldo's departure to rejoin Manchester United on transfer deadline day and his former club went the next three Serie A outings without a victory.

Having finished fourth under Andrea Pirlo last season, Bianconeri fans were already frustrated at the club's plight before Massimiliano Allegri returned to the Allianz Stadium.

Allegri won the Serie A title every one of his five campaigns in charge but was yet to record a win in the league since retaking the reins prior to Wednesday.

In their most recent match, ex-Everton forward Moise Kean opened the scoring after 28 minutes thanks to a composed finish following good work from Leonardo Bonucci and Adrien Rabiot.

Five minutes later, though, Gyasi struck via a deflection to leave Juve stopper Wojciech Szczesny helpless between the posts.

It was then when he brought out the 'Siu' celebration which Ronaldo made popular at Real Madrid before brining it to Turin.

Janis Antiste then scored to put Spezia in the lead before Federico Chiesa and Mattijs de Ligt hit back with goals.

Ronaldo scored 101 goals in 134 games for Juventus, helping them two Serie A titles and finishing as the division's top goalscorer last time out despite the club struggling for much of the term.

Allegri is reportedly unhappy at his club's willingness to let the five-time Ballon d'Or winner leave and made headlines on Sunday following their 1-1 draw at home to AC Milan.

The demanding Italian manager was caught blasting his players as he made his way down the tunnel at full-time.

"F*** sake! You are playing for Juventus," yelled the Juventus boss.

Following the draw, Allegri told reporters: "It is normal that I have a post-game outburst, as I am human.

"Those who are on the bench must be decisive when they enter and approach the game. We cannot risk playing with 10 men," he said. It is a sense of respect for those on the bench, how they must take responsibility. We must be ready.

"When I was younger they always told me that what matters is on the pitch."

His pre-match assessment of the trip to Spezia was a damning one, admitting: "Looking at the table right now, Spezia v Juventus is a relegation six-pointer.

"We need to be realistic, we can't talk about our goals as it stands," He added: "There's no point talking about the past, this is a different Juventus team.

Defensive stalwart Giorgio Chiellini recently urged the Bianconeri to begin a new chapter without Ronaldo.

The 37-year-old told DAZN as quoted by Football Italia : "When you have a world class player like Cristiano, you cannot help but use the team to play for him.

"We must be grateful to Cristiano for all he did during these years at Juventus, but we carry on.

"This will be Paulo Dybala's team," Chiellini affirmed. "Over the last couple of years, he lowered his average goals because of Cristiano's presence, but he is a key player for this team and that is recognised by everyone."
