Jose Mourinho has reportedly dropped Felix Afena-Gyan from the Roma first-team for the "next few weeks" after it was discovered he had been out clubbing the night before a game.
Already a fully-fledged Ghana international at 19 years of age, Afena-Gyan made headlines earlier this season when he scored a dramatic brace in what was just his third Serie A appearance to win the game for Roma.
Another nine appearances for the club have duly followed, but he will not be seen in the squad for at least three weeks according to Italian outlet Il Messaggero.
Mourinho will be taking strict action and briefly exile Afena-Gyan from the first-team fold due to the fact he had visited a nightclub last Saturday night.

The teenager was unavailable for Sunday's trip to Spezia because of a small injury and in turn returned to the club's training base in Trigoria alongside fellow crocked teammates Benjamin Tahirovic and Jan Oliveras.
Mourinho is thought to be incredibly disappointed by Afena-Gyan's conduct, especially given the fact the club have warned their stars to avoid attending public, crowded venues.
Italian internationals Nicolò Zaniolo and Stephan El Shaarawy were also spotted in a nightclub less than a fortnight ago, though only the former has been dropped since.
To add to his punishment, Afena-Gyan has also been forced to train with the club's under-19's side until further notice.
It is a far cry from his standing at the club just before Christmas, when the forward was receiving lavish gifts from his manager.
Prior to Afena-Gyan's heroics against Genoa, Mourinho had promised the player he would buy some "really expensive" for him if he made an impact.
Two goals in 16 minutes meant Mourinho was forced to splash the case on some new footwear for his player.
"I had promised to buy Felix the boots he really likes, which are really expensive, they cost €800 [£671], so he ran over and told me not to forget," the Roma boss told DAZN.
"Tomorrow morning, the first thing I do is buy him the boots."
Mourinho was a man of his word and purchased the shoes for Afena-Gyan the very next day.
After that game, the former Chelsea and Manchester United boss waxed lyrical over the young starlet's attitude.
"If he is not in terms of technique fantastic, he does have a strong mentality.
"You get these kids now who think they know everything, but he is humble and you can sense he just absorbs all this information from everyone around him. That's fantastic."
