Harry Kane, Glenn Hoddle or Gary Lineker: Who is Tottenham's best ever No.10?

Tottenham fans have been blessed with the likes of Harry Kane, Gary Lineker and Glenn Hoddle over the years.

Their current No 10 is an academy graduate and has his sights set on smashing club and English goalscoring records.

Club chief Daniel Levy appointed Nuno Espirito Santo in the summer and spoke about rediscovering the Tottenham DNA which has been built on entertaining football.

Having the likes of Hoddle certainly made that easier and the club legend turned manager still enjoys the fans' affection.

Martin Peters, the man who people forget scored in the 1966 World Cup final, is another player to don the No 10 shirt in north London.

You have to go back even further than that to remember another of the club's greats - Jimmy Greaves.

The striker passed away recently aged 81 and tributes have rightly poured in for the man who scored 266 goals - a Tottenham record.

His England numbers were just as impressive and Greaves was part of Bill Nicholson's famous 1960s side.

He grabbed a brace in the 1963 European Cup Winners' Cup final against Atletico Madrid.

Lineker, another prolific marksman, spent just three years in white having joined from Barcelona in the late 1980s.

He certainly left his mark though, scoring 80 times and helping Tottenham to the most recent of their eight FA Cups in 1991.

Teddy Sheringham and Les Ferdinand are both men who played for the club during the Premier League era.

The former spent two spells at White Hart Lane, scoring 124 times in the process.

Robbie Keane is another man to recently wear the No 10 at Tottenham having joined from Leeds in 2002.

He spent almost a decade at the club with his predatory play and smart movement resulting in over a century of goals and many chants of "Keano!"
