The centre-back turned provider at the other end of the pitch with a fine assist to help give his side a late equaliser on Saturday.
The Magpies earned the lead with Anthony Gordon's deflected shot, which coincidentally went down as a Guehi own-goal, but the Eagles fought back to earn a late. deserved, point.
Speaking after the game, Glasner was asked about Guehi's assist, the boss responded: "Yes, I spoke to him, said two goals, one assist, maybe I have to try you as a ten."
It was the England international's first assist for Crystal Palace this season, although he has scored twice for the south London club so far this campaign.
Guehi has netted against Everton and Wolves, as well as providing Conor Gallagher with an assist when on international duty with England.

Despite the joke about Guehi's new role, Glasner provided an update on Eberechi Eze, who came off midway through the second half for Justin Devenny.
"Keeping him for 65 minutes was enough because we need him," he said, alleviating any fan worry over a possible injury to their No.10 after only just returning from a layoff.
"I told him quite often, but I love it when a player always wants to play every single minute.
"He wanted to travel with us to [Aston] Villa. But all the parameters showed us it was maybe a little bit risky."

Asked whether the late point has restored confidence into the dressing room, Glasner disagreed, saying it was 'a big disappointment' after Newcastle ended the game with zero shots on target, while Palace wasted several good chances to score.
"Everybody feels that we deserved more, that we should have won the game with the chances we had," he added. "We gave Newcastle just one finish in over 100 minutes.
"For me, yes, we are not happy with the points. But I see the performances getting better and better game by game. If we keep going like this, results will come."
Glasner also admitted that he awarded the match ball to Daniel Munoz, who redeemed himself with the late equaliser after a miss of the season contender in the first half.
"I spoke to him after the game and said, you should take the ball," explained the manager.
"Usually you take the ball after scoring a hat-trick but he's always running there on the far post."
It was a solid defensive display from Crystal Palace who kept Newcastle at bay, with Eddie Howe's side registering just one shot the whole game, none of which on target.
Crystal Palace struggled at the start of the season but have since found form with a recent draw at Villa Park. Newcastle host Liverpool in their next top-flight clash before travelling to Brentford.
