But, after the former Burnley man signed for the Toffees and Richarlison left for Tottenham, some have jokingly told the defender to recreate it next season.
Supporters already have a plan for when Spurs come to town after the £60m transfer of Richarlison was confirmed on Friday.
When Burnley visited Goodison Park in September (a game the Toffees won 3-1 thanks to a stunning strike from Andros Townsend), Everton's Brazilian forward was enjoying life as his side cruised to three points.
That was until a 6ft2 centre-back went steaming through him and nearly sent him into row Z.
As he was running towards the corner flag, Richarlison flicked the ball past Tarkowski - which the defender clearly didn't like.
He slid in to intercept the ball and, while he did get a touch on it, he went straight through the tricky striker at some speed.
Richarlison, of course, did his customary roll-around on the turf but, to the surprise of everyone, Tarkowski didn't even get booked.
Gary Neville said the challenge was worthy of a red card when analysing the game on Sky Sports, believing that Tarkowski wanted to 'leave one on him'.
"I think he knows he's going to do him, I think he knows his follow-through is going to hurt him, or could hurt him," the former defender said.
"I think it does endanger him and I think Tarkowski goes to do him and leave one on him."
And it's clearly something that some Everton fans want to happen again next season, after Richarlison left their club for Spurs.
"Recreate this at White Hart Lane fella", replied one fan to the announcement on social media, accompanied with the video of the tackle.
Whilst another tweeted: "I get it now. We waited to announce [Tarkowski] AFTER Richarlison was sold because after that tackle last season they'd end up having a straightener".
The duo have history even before that, as Tarkowski mocked Richarlison at Turf Moor a few seasons ago.
When the Everton man tried to get the ball back, the centre-back skillfully stuck the ball through his legs - something the Brazil international normally does to defenders.
They have also had various other confrontations, which has included finger-wagging and shirt pulling over the years.
Thank goodness they don't have to share the same dressing room.
