Cristiano Ronaldo has said he is "thrilled" to have completed his move to Al-Nassr.
The five-time Ballon d'Or winner was on the look out for a new club after his contract with Manchester United was terminated. With a lack of European options available Ronaldo has opted for a switch to Saudi Arabia, where he will earn mouthwatering sums.
Ronaldo has spent near enough the last two decades operating at the top of European football with United, Real Madrid and Juventus - winning five Champions Leagues - but will head to the Middle East and cited the "vision" of his new club as a key reason in his decision.
He told the club's website: "I'm thrilled for new experience in a different league and a different country, the vision that Al Nassr has is very inspiring. I am very excited to join my teammates, to help the team to achieve more success."
A statement from the club read: "This is more than history in the making. This is a signing that will not only inspire our club to achieve even greater success but inspire our league, our nation and future generations, boys and girls to be the best version of themselves. Welcome, Cristiano, to your new home."
Ronaldo had offers to move to Saudi Arabia last summer, when he first made it known he wanted to leave Old Trafford. He turned them down at the time, but has since endured a horrid period in Manchester under Erik ten Hag, who only used him sporadically.

The final straw for the 37-year-old was his explosive tell-all interview with Piers Morgan, during which he spoke negatively about the Red Devils and several individuals associated with the club. Ronaldo has maintained that he wants to play until 40 and his switch to Saudi Arabia will enable him to do that.
He will join the likes of David Ospina, formerly of Arsenal, and Champions League winner Luiz Gustavo at Al-Nassr, who have won their league title on nine occasions, that most recent coming in 2019. Since then they have won the Saudi Super Cup.
Ronaldo has had his critics over recent months. His actions in Manchester were questioned - he refused to come on in a win over Tottenham and his general demeanour copped flack. He then failed to make an impact with Portugal at the World Cup before their last eight exit. He was benched for both knockout games against Switzerland and Morocco before he was seen in tears as he wandered down the tunnel in what was his last ever World Cup.
