The 20-year-old is the son of former two-weight world champion and one of Britain's most beloved boxers, Ricky Hatton.
This weekend, Campbell is in action against the 2-4 Sonni Martinez in what marks just his fourth professional fight.
He's 3-0 as a pro and developing nicely, though clearly still rough around the edges thanks to his lack of experience and young age.
Hatton Jnr is looking to stay unbeaten with a win at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium and is not thinking too far ahead.
But he admits his ultimate goal is to fight in Manchester in front of a vocal home crowd and he dreams of following in his dad's footsteps by putting on a show at the Etihad Stadium.
Like Ricky, Campbell is proud of his Manchester roots and is a huge City fan, wearing their colours whenever he fights.
"100 percent," Campbell said of his goal to fight at the Etihad. "It's always been a dream since I started boxing to go there.
"Obviously my dad boxed there in his career so that's definitely something on the bucket list. The support has been quality and I'm proud of where I come from.
"I have boxed there [Manchester] once but it was behind closed doors.
"I just can't wait to have that fight at the arena because my phone goes mad for tickets [every fight]. I think the interest is there and I can't wait to put on a good show there."
With every passing fight, Campbell is establishing himself as his own man and his own fighter.
The weight of the name will follow him throughout his career, but is that weight shedding with each fight or is it getting heavier with expectations?
"It's definitely coming off," he said.
"I think as I'm going, the pressure lifts that little bit. I think people see what I'm about, they start to get to know me and I start moving away from being Ricky Hatton's lad and being Campbell Hatton.
"Obviously it won't happen overnight, but I think with each one I do start getting more of my own identity."
Hatton will be in the ring on the Anthony Joshua and Oleksandr Usyk undercard for his fourth fight in just six months. Follow our live blog for regular updates.
