Liverpool and Manchester United will be prioritising keeping what they have this January while the likes of super-rich Newcastle will be looking to splash some serious cash

It's only a few days not until the January transfer window swings open and the top clubs in England start spending money again.

Ralf Rangnick has a reported £100million to splash at Manchester United and may look to strengthen his side as quickly as possible following Monday night's dismal draw with Newcastle.

A priority will be straightening out the futures of certain players with Jesse Lingard, Anthony Martial, Donny van de Beek and Paul Pogba all linked with the exit, and Cristiano Ronaldo apparently dropping exit hints.

Eddie Howe will also be looking to flex Newcastle's new financial muscle, with the Magpies linked with some huge names including Samuel Umtiti and Philippe Coutinho.

Elsewhere Jurgen Klopp will also likely prioritise tying Mohamed Salah down to a new contract, with the Egyptian still dragging his heels on committing himself to the Anfield club.

Newcastle learn Botman asking price

Newcastle United have been told what they must pay Lille for defender Sven Botman.

The French champions will not consider any offers below £25million for the 21-year-old, according to Tuttomercatoweb.

AC Milan are also said to be interested in Botman, who was central to Lille's unlikely title triumph last season.

Brozovic to snub Premier League

Marcelo Brozovic has reportedly decided to extend his stay at Inter Milan, ending his chances of a move to the Premier League.

According to FC Inter 1908, the Croatian midfielder, 29, will pen a new deal with the Italian champions after months of uncertainty over his future at the San Siro.

Brozovic is out of contract at the end of the season, having been linked with Manchester United, Chelsea and Newcastle United.

Isco wants away

Real Madrid midfielder Isco, linked with a host of Premier League clubs down the years, looks set to stay at the Santiago Bernabeu for another transfer window.

Mundo Deportivo report that there has been no interest in the 29-year-old, who has made just two La Liga starts this season for Carlo Ancelotti's side.

Isco will be a free agent in June 2022 unless the Spaniard signs a new deal.
