Bolton vs. Wigan (Saturday, 12.30pm)
Former Premier League foes Bolton Wanderers and Wigan Athletic occupy one of Saturday's 12.30pm kickoff slots in League One at the Toughsheet Community Stadium.
The two sides return to league action following contrasting EFL Trophy results, as Ian Evatt's men battled past Huddersfield Town 3-1, while the Latics went down to Chesterfield in the last 32.
We say: Bolton Wanderers 2-0 Wigan Athletic
Bolton at home is usually a foregone conclusion from the first whistle, as Evatt's men have turned the Toughsheet Community Stadium into a fortress of late, even if they have struggled for clean sheets.
As Wigan are out of sorts and looking a bit light up top, their stronghold over the Trotters should cease as Bolton beat the Latics in a competitive game for the first time since 2015.
Leyton Orient vs. Burton Albion (Saturday, 12.30pm)
Burton Albion will be looking to boost their League One survival hopes when they travel to Brisbane Road to face Leyton Orient on Saturday lunchtime.
While the O's have won five of their last six games on home soil in all competitions, the Brewers have celebrated victory in both of their last two matches on the road.
We say: Leyton Orient 1-0 Burton Albion
Taking into account the contrasting form of both teams, Leyton Orient will be regarded as favourites to come out on top this weekend and should have enough quality in their side to get the job done against a Burton outfit that has failed to score in five of their last seven matches.
Birmingham vs. Bristol Rovers (Saturday, 3.00pm)
Aiming to record six straight wins across all competitions, title favourites Birmingham City will welcome a struggling Bristol Rovers outfit to St Andrew's @ Knighthead Park on Saturday afternoon in League One.
Blues booked their spot in the last 16 of the EFL Trophy with a win at Exeter City on Tuesday, whereas the Gas have been afforded over a week to reflect on a disappointing display at Leyton Orient in the third tier.
We say: Birmingham City 1-0 Bristol Rovers
In the midst of their longest winning run of the campaign, Birmingham should be extremely confident of extending their unbeaten run at home to nine league matches.
That being said, a Bristol Rovers side full of rest and with a top goalkeeper could make it a taxing afternoon for the title candidates in the Second City.
Charlton vs. Mansfield (Saturday, 3.00pm)
Two out-of-form League One teams meet at The Valley on Saturday afternoon as Charlton Athletic play host to Mansfield Town.
While the Addicks have won just one of their last eight third-tier matches, the Stags have failed to win any of their last six league games.
We say: Charlton Athletic 1-1 Mansfield Town
Neither side enter Saturday's contest in good form, but they will back themselves to end their poor runs of form with a victory here. Charlton will arguably be regarded as slight favourites on home soil, but we are backing Mansfield to end their losing streak and share the spoils with the Addicks.
Exeter vs. Barnsley (Saturday, 3.00pm)
Both aiming to end poor runs of form and climb back towards the League One table's top six, Exeter City and Barnsley will do battle at St James Park on Saturday.
Having both endured five-match winless runs heading into the weekend, the visitors have dropped to eighth spot while their hosts are three points worse off in 11th place.
We say: Exeter City 1-2 Barnsley
Saturday's contest promises to be a hard-fought one between two sides desperate to end slumps in their form.
Even without Phillips, Barnsley's quality should be enough to get them over the line and trigger an improvement beginning at St James Park.
Huddersfield vs. Lincoln (Saturday, 3.00pm)
Aiming to ramp up their pressure on the top two in the League One table, Huddersfield Town will welcome Lincoln City to the John Smith's Stadium on Saturday.
The hosts sit fourth after four straight victories, while their visitors have dropped out of the playoff places in the midst of a dip in form.
We say: Huddersfield Town 2-0 Lincoln City
Lincoln City do possess more quality than their current run of form suggests, but given the momentum behind the hosts and their eye-catching record at the John Smith's Stadium, we can only envisage another Terriers win at the weekend.
Peterborough vs. Crawley (Saturday, 3.00pm)
Separated by just two points in the bottom half of the League One table, Peterborough United and Crawley Town square off at the Weston Homes Stadium on Saturday afternoon.
Darren Ferguson's men went down 2-1 to Northampton United in Monday night's fixture, while their visitors' proposed encounter with Stevenage fell victim to Storm Darragh.
We say: Peterborough United 1-1 Crawley Town
While Peterborough's defending at home has left a lot to be desired, Crawley Town have developed a streak of resilience on the road of late and have also had more time to recover from their most recent exploits.
On paper, a Posh triumph might be expected, but we are struggling to back Ferguson's side with any real confidence and can instead anticipate a tense draw between the two clubs.
Reading vs. Blackpool (Saturday, 3.00pm)
Noel Hunt will look to claim his first win as Reading boss when his side take on Blackpool in Saturday's League One contest.
The hosts head into the weekend in sixth place in the League One table, while Blackpool are sitting just outside the top half in 13th position.
We say: Reading 2-1 Blackpool
Reading have proved to be a strong force at the Select Car Leasing Stadium, and while they have changed their manager since their last home outing, we still believe they will make full use of home advantage to get the better of Blackpool in Saturday's League One encounter, especially as the home team on the day has won the last five head-to-head meetings between the two sides.
Rotherham vs. Northampton (Saturday, 3.00pm)
Rotherham United and Northampton Town square off on Saturday afternoon looking for a win that could move them clear of the relegation zone.
The two teams are separated in the League One table by just the one point, Northampton three places clear of their hosts in 20th position.
We say: Rotherham United 2-1 Northampton Town
With both teams having got wins on the board lately, this could be a higher-quality fixture than maybe it would have been a few weeks ago. Nevertheless, we are backing Rotherham to come through with the three points, potentially through a late goal.
Shrewsbury vs. Wycombe (Saturday, 3.00pm)
Wycombe Wanderers travel to Shrewsbury Town on Saturday afternoon looking to get back on track in order to defend their position at the top of the League One table.
Meanwhile, bottom side Shrewsbury are already nine points adrift of the league leaders, not helped by another two defeats in succession.
We say: Shrewsbury Town 1-3 Wycombe Wanderers
With Wycombe's run of strong form having been halted in recent games, Shrewsbury will feel that they could have an opening to cause a surprise. However, we can only back the visitors to come through in comfortable fashion to retain their spot in the top two.
Stevenage vs. Stockport (Saturday, 3.00pm)
Alex Revell's Stevenage are set to host Dave Challinor's promotion-chasing Stockport County at Lamex Stadium on Saturday in League One.
The Boro will be looking to make it three wins in a row this weekend, while the Hatters will be hoping to get back to winning ways after being eliminated from the EFL Trophy last time out.
We say: Stevenage 1-1 Stockport County
Though Stockport County have not drawn any of their last 12 matches, they may find themselves frustrated by Stevenage's defence.
Additionally, given Stevenage are the lowest scorers in the division, Saturday's game is unlikely to be a high scoring affair and could end in a stalemate.
Wrexham vs. Cambridge (Saturday, 3.00pm)
Two teams with contrasting fortunes are set to clash when high-flying Wrexham host relegation-threatened Cambridge United at SToK Cae Ras on Saturday in League One.
The Red Dragons will be looking for their sixth consecutive victory in all competitions this weekend, while the U's will be desperate to avoid being cut adrift in the relegation zone.
We say: Wrexham 2-0 Cambridge United
Wrexham may not be in the best goalscoring form at the moment, but they are consistently churning out good results.
Against a struggling Cambridge, the Red Dragons will be hoping to keep up the pressure in the title race and put in an improved offensive display on the way to another three points.
