Chelsea were the biggest spenders of the month and saved their biggest deal for deadline day, smashing the British transfer record to sign Enzo Fernandez from Benfica for a fee of £106.8m.

Arsenal also did business, signing Jorginho for a fee rising to £12million from their London rivals, while Man United completed a late loan move for Marcel Sabitzer.
Man City allowed Joao Cancelo to move to Bayern Munich, and Tottenham finally landed Pedro Porro as Matt Doherty sealed a surprise free transfer move to Atletico Madrid.
Nottingham Forest, meanwhile, completed a triple swoop.
