The 20-year-old is a childhood City fan and still fondly remembers when she visited the Etihad Stadium for the first time as a kid with her dad, where she picked up a brand-new kit with Sergio Aguero's name on the back.
By that point she was smitten and in what has been a whirlwind few years for the exciting youngster, she's now living the dream by playing for the team she supports.
Park has even cemented herself as a regular in their first-team and starred in the recent 3-1 win over Tottenham Hotspur where she scored one and set up the other two goals.
Her displays have earnt the winger plenty of plaudits but the 20-year-old is not resting on her laurels and has got her eyes set on earning her maiden call up to Sarina Wiegman's England squad.
Speaking exclusively to talkSPORT, Park said: "I've always wanted to play here [at Man City] and I've always dreamt that I could play here. Now I'm doing it, it's kind of a bit surreal.
"I'm really enjoying my football this season. I've really developed in the last season, got more game time and been able to contribute assists and goals. It's been massive and a bit of a whirlwind. I think there's a way to go and a lot more to come and I'm working hard in training day-in, day-out and doing whatever I can to produce that on the field.
"It [an England call-up] is definitely something that I want for the future and I will work hard every day, play well for my club and do everything that I can to be on that radar. Hopefully, one day I might get the call-up."
The winger - who was born in Brough - was a regular for City's development squad after joining as a 16-year-old and you get the sense that despite her age, she takes everything in her stride.
Stepping into a first-team environment for the first time can be a daunting experience for some young players, but for Park, it was a challenge she relished and that, perhaps, is showcased by the lack of fear she plays with.
"I saw it as a challenge and it really spurred me onto work hard and do everything right that I could to get myself into a position where I kind of am kind of now," she explains.
"I think some of the younger ones that had already done that [stepped up to the first team] definitely helped me a lot, like Lauren Hemp. She definitely helped me settle in [and] Esme Morgan.
"I think some of the bigger players like Alex Greenwood, for example, have been there for me both on and off the field to help me be the best that I can be, both as a person and a player.
"I talk to Lauren a lot about things that she does and what helps her in her position, because it's just flipped the other way round on my side. I try and use that in my game.
"Playing with Ellen [White] is a massive help. She's got so much experience and she will make the run, so I just need to play the ball. Having those conversations and having that experience around you on the field does really help."
That win over Chelsea secured Man City's first piece of silverware this season and will be a huge weight off of boss Gareth Taylor's shoulders, given the amount of issues he has had to contend with this campaign.
Having been unable to play any pre-season friendlies due to the number of their players at the Olympics, City were then blighted by injuries during the first half of the season which had a detrimental effect on results.
Such form meant Taylor had to field questions about his future, but the City boss has managed to turn things around since the turn of the year and Park finished by hailing the 49-year-old's impact on her career.
"I think he [Taylor] is a brilliant manager and he really has helped me with my game, [with] just little things like positional tips and driving me to be my best and really getting me to nail down the basics of being a winger," Park finished.
"It was hard because I'd never played as a winger before until last season and the things that he has told me and taught me has really helped my game and are things I consciously think about. It's becoming more natural for me, so it has definitely developed me as a player."
