Henderson responds as Real Madrid fan tells Bellingham to snub Liverpool move

The Liverpool captain has become close with England teamate Jude Bellingham and given he is an Anfield transfer target, Reds fans are hoping he can work his magic and persuade him to join.

The pair combined brilliantly in England's Round of 16 win against Senegal on Sunday, with Bellingham setting up his fellow midfielder for the opening goal - which has no doubt left Liverpool fans dreaming of what the pair could do together under Jurgen Klopp.

Liverpool are just one of the many clubs vying for the 19-year-old's signature, though.

One of the Borussia Dortmund star's many admirers are reigning Spanish and European champions Real Madrid. It turns out their fans seem just as keen as Liverpool's to have him next season, too, as shown in footage doing the rounds on TikTok.

The clip posted by a fan on Twitter shows him filming pals Bellingham and Henderson, as well as other Liverpool star Trent Alexander-Arnold.

"Jude Bellingham you are the best central midfielder in the world. Very good. Come to Real Madrid, come to Real Madrid!" the fan tells Bellingham.

Initially, the teen smiles and thanks him, but then begins pointing at Henderson, who can be heard saying something off camera.

The camera then focuses on Henderson, who has been on the losing side against Real a few times, and jokes with the supporter.

"No Madrid, no Madrid," the Anfield skipper says, shaking his finger.

And it turns out the fan had a message for Henderson - although this one was a little bit less complimentary.

"But you lose the Champions League final!" the fan laughed, leading Henderson to crack up with Bellingham.

The light hearted exchange then sees the supporter focus again on the Borussia Dortmund star, the fan continues: "If you come to Real Madrid, you will get Ballon d'Or!"

Very modestly, the England star replied: "Do you think so? We'll see!"
