The Premier League side has confirmed they will be signing the Norway hotshot from Borussia Dortmund - the fee City are reported to be paying the German side £51million for his services.
It's a massive coup for City, who are signing a striker with an incredible eye for goal. Haaland has scored 85 times in 88 appearances for Dortmund and netted 15 goals in 17 appearances for Norway.
But arguably his biggest quality is his physical presence. The 21-year-old stands at 6ft 3ins.
He really made a name for himself at previous club Red Bull Salzburg - the then-teenager starring in their Champions League campaign as he barged grown men out the way like they weren't even there.
However, he's increased his frame during his stay at Dortmund, revealing he put on a stone in muscle between signing for the Bundesliga side in January 2020 and last summer.
"If you look at my body, if you look at my legs, you will see that I have changed a lot. I am completely different. I have become a real man," he told AS in May 2021.
"I have become faster. That is one of the most important things. I have gone from 86 kilos to 94, but it is not a beer belly, it is about gross muscle mass. I take great care of what I eat."
Haaland's father, former City player Alfe-Inge Haaland, has previously said his son is 'built' for the Premier League.
"At one stage he would like to play in the Premier League, but when that will happen, I don't know. It is a very tough league," Alfe-Inge told talkSPORT in November 2019.
"Up to now he is ahead of the stage we thought he would be at. He is built for the Premier League, but whether that will happen now or at a later stage, we don't know."
talkSPORT's Jason Cundy went one further, however, claiming that Haaland is the perfect build for a no.9 in today's game.
"If you had to design a centre forward for the modern game, you're designing him," Cundy said on Drivetime.
