After watching the striker score twice in the Gunners' 3-2 victory over Everton on Sunday, Sky Sports pundit and Manchester United legend Neville claimed Aubameyang deserves to already be ranked among the division's all-time best attacking players.
"You talk about Arsenal lacking characters and lacking leadership, I think this guy is everything you could want," said Neville on Monday Night Football.
"There's a bit of Ian Wright in him, a bit of nastiness in him. In his interviews after a game he shows personality and character, he works hard off the ball and he works hard on the ball.
"If you look at his minutes-to-goal, this is in Premier League history, Serio Aguero is at the top [with 107], then Harry Kane [121], Thierry Henry [122] and then it's Aubameyang [123].
"It's unbelievable the performances of this lad over the last two years. He's not mentioned as world-class, we don’t talk of him as a Premier League great and I think we have to."
Aubameyang even responded to those claims on social media.
@GNev2 wow After That, i can also say Aubameyang is a premier League Great
