Tuesday's Chinese Super League predictions including Shandong vs. Dalian Pro

Beijing Guoan vs. Shenzhen (Tuesday, 9.30am)

Beijing Guoan and Shenzhen square off in the Chinese Super League on Tuesday with both teams in close proximity to the top of the standings.

Each side have lost just one of their opening four fixtures, and a win at the Workers' Stadium should close the gap on the three pacesetters.

We say: Beijing Guoan 1-1 Shenzhen

Both teams have already hinted this campaign that they have the quality to maintain a title push, and that should make for a competitive fixture on Tuesday. Nevertheless, the side may also err on the side of caution, leading us to predict a share of the spoils.

Cangzhou vs. Tianjin Jinmen (Tuesday, 10.30am)

Cangzhou Mighty Lions play host to Tianjin Jinmen Tiger at the Yutong International Sports Center on Tuesday in round five of the 2022 Chinese Super League season.

Both teams have been largely underwhelming of late and will be keen to get themselves back on track by securing all three points in this one.

Cangzhou are on a slightly better run of results coming into this one and coupled with the added advantage of playing on home turf, we are backing them to come away with all three points, albeit by only a narrow margin.

Shandong vs. Dalian Pro (Tuesday, 1.00pm)

Shandong Taishan play host to Dalian Pro on Tuesday looking to record their fourth victory in five Chinese Super League fixtures.

However, their opponents are currently unbeaten in the top flight, albeit with just one win to their name.

We say: Shandong Taishan 1-1 Dalian Pro

Shandong probably have the advantage heading into this contest, the home side showing a greater cutting edge in the final third. However, Dalian will be equally satisfied with their start to the campaign and another stalemate here would be regarded as a step in the right direction.
