Saturday's Scottish Premiership predictions including Rangers vs. Dundee United

Hibernian vs. Aberdeen (Saturday, 3.00pm)

After the postponement to matches last weekend, the Scottish Premiership will return on Saturday, with Hibernian welcoming fellow top-flight side Aberdeen.

While there is only a difference of two points between the two sides, a gap of four places separates Hibs and Aberdeen in what has been a tight start to the Premiership campaign.

Aberdeen will be fancied to pick up another victory on Saturday afternoon, such has been Hibs's tough start to the campaign.

While they may be in for a tight affair, it is likely that this weekend's clash will go the way of the hosts.

Livingston vs. Kilmarnock (Saturday, 3.00pm)

A Kilmarnock side with just one victory all season will be hoping to pick up points when they travel to Livingston on Saturday afternoon.

The hosts begin the weekend seventh in the Scottish Premiership table and will be confident of a win against second-bottom Kilmarnock.

We say: Livingston 2-0 Kilmarnock

Having struggled at multiple times so far this season, Kilmarnock will be hoping to avoid another damaging defeat this weekend.

However, it is unlikely that Kilmarnock escape Livingston with any points to show this time around.

Rangers vs. Dundee Utd (Saturday, 3.00pm)

With both sides experiencing tough times of late, Rangers and rock-bottom Dundee United meet in the Scottish Premiership on Saturday.

The hosts have lost each of their last three games by an aggregate score of 11-0, while their visitors are yet to taste victory in the top flight despite a recent change of management.

Though it appears a change in the dugout has stopped the rot for Dundee United, their latest visit to Ibrox is particularly ill-timed, as Rangers will be fired up to answer their critics. If they can keep the back door closed, the hosts will coast to victory by more than one goal.

St Johnstone vs. Ross County (Saturday, 3.00pm)

Two of the Scottish Premiership's strugglers will do battle on Saturday, as St Johnstone entertain Ross County.

The hosts find themselves two points above their opponents after a second win of the season last time out, with the visitors on just four points from six outings.

We say: St Johnstone 2-1 Ross County

We put these two sides on a relatively level playing field and both will see the game as a good chance to put crucial points on the board.

With home advantage and confidence from their victory last time out, we just lean towards St Johnstone and envisage Davidson's side scraping through.
