The home side, who are currently on a run of five consecutive victories against the visitors, will look to continue in the same vein and get their Super Lig campaign back on track.
Match preview
Alanyaspor were condemned to a second consecutive Super Lig defeat as they were beaten 2-0 by Istanbul Basaksehir when the sides squared off last Sunday.
In an action-packed contest at the Basaksehir Fatih Terim Stadium, Emre Belozoglu's men turned in a fine performance in front of their home fans as Serdar Gurler and Phillips Keny scored in either half to see off the visitors.
Alanyaspor have now lost each of their last two games, conceding three goals and failing to find the target in that time, while they have picked up just two points from their last four games since a 4-2 win over Fatih Karagumruk in their league opener on August 7.
Francesco Farioli's men, who are yet to taste victory at home this season, have picked up just five points from their first five games this season and are currently 13th in the Super Lig standings.
Meanwhile, Ankaragucu were left empty handed once again as they suffered a narrow 3-2 defeat against league leaders Besiktas when the sides met at the Eryaman Stadyumu last Sunday.
Goals from Jackson Muleka and new signing Dele Alli saw Besiktas head into the interval with a 2-1 lead, and after Giorgi Beridze restored parity in the 47th minute, Georges-Kevin N'Koudou nearly converted his 74th-minute penalty to hand the visitors all three points.
Omer Erdogan's side have failed to taste victory in their first four games of the season, losing each of their last three games since kicking off the season with a goalless draw against Konyaspor on August 8.
While Ankaragucu will head into the weekend seeking to end this poor record, their next task tees them up against an Alanyaspor side who have won each of the last five meetings between the sides since a 2-0 loss in August 2018.

Team News
Alanyaspor will take to the pitch without the services of Senegalese forward Famara Diedhiou, who is yet to feature this season after coming off injured while on international duty in July.
He is joined on the club's injury table by 32-year-old midfielder Efecan Karaca, who is set to sit out his fourth consecutive game after coming off injured in the league opener against Fatih Karagumruk on August 7.
Ankaragucu, on the other hand, will have to cope without Marlon, who will serve a one-match suspension after receiving his marching orders late in the game against Besiktas last time out.
In his absence, Sinan Osmanoglu should come into the fold for his third appearance of the season, teaming up with Nihad Mujakic, Atakan Cankaya and Oguz Ceylan in the back four.
On the injury front, the newly-promoted side will be missing the duo of 28-year-old forward Ali Sowe and former Bologna defender Uros Radakovic, who continue their spells on the sidelines.
Alanyaspor possible starting lineup:
Runarsson; Pereira, Bayir, Balkovec, Aksoy; Fer, Gunes; Aydin, Bekiroglu, Ferhat; Eduardo
Ankaragucu possible starting lineup:
Gungordu; Osmanoglu, Mujakic, Cankaya, Ceylan; Pedrinho, Cigerci; Ariyibi, Zahid, Beridze; Macheda
We say: Alanyaspor 2-0 Ankaragucu
While Alanyaspor have stuttered into the new season, they head into the weekend as favourites to come away with the desired results thanks to their superior and more experienced squad. They have enjoyed the better of this fixture and we are backing them to see off Ankaragucu once again.
