Monday's Argentine Primera Division predictions including Union vs. Godoy Cruz

San Lorenzo vs. Talleres (Monday, 8.30pm)

San Lorenzo entertain the challenge of Talleres Cordoba at the Estadio Pedro Bidegain in round 10 of the 2022 Argentine Primera Division season.

The away side are looking to pick up consecutive league wins for the first time this term, while the hosts seek to return to winning ways following consecutive stalemates in their last two involvements.

On the other hand, the away side head into the clash looking to make it four wins from their last five matches across all competitions.

Off the back of a bump in the road last time out, the home side will be keen to bounce back against their visitors, who look to have gotten their act together of late. We expected a close encounter with Newell's Old Boys battling to a hard-fought victory at the end of the 90 minutes.

Looking to pick up a fourth win on the bounce and extend their lead at the top of the Primera Division table, Argentinos Juniors visit the Estadio Florencio Sola to face Banfield on Monday.

El Taladro, meanwhile, will head into the game seeking to get one over the visitors, having failed to win any of the last six meetings between the sides since 2015.

High-flying Argentinos Juniors will fancy their chances against a floundering Banfield side who are winless in three straight league games. Milito's men are also nineteen in six straight games against the hosts and we are backing them to extend their dominance in this fixture by claiming all three points once again.

Union vs. Godoy Cruz (Tuesday, 1.30am)

Seeking to snap their three-game winless run, Union play host to Godoy Cruz at the Estadio 15 de Abril in round 10 of the Argentine Primera Division on Monday.

Meanwhile, Rodolfo Diego Flores's side, who are currently unbeaten in seven consecutive outings across all competitions, could move top of the league standings with all three points.

With just two points separating the sides in the top half of the table, we expect a thrilling and hard-fought contest on Monday. Godoy Cruz have managed just one win in five away games this season and we predict that the hosts will do just enough to deny them all three points once again.

Velez Sarsfield vs. Huracan (Tuesday, 1.30am)

Huracan will be looking to move level on points with Argentinos Juniors at the top of the Primera Division table when they take a trip to the Estadio Jose Amalfitani to face Velez Sarsfield on Monday.
