Leicester vs Coventry: Team news

Coady is a major doubt for the weekend after suffering a foot injury in pre-season.

But in better news, Vardy should be fit to lead the line for Leicester after overcoming a problem of his own.

And there should be plenty of new talent on display for the hosts, with Winks, Callum Doyle and Mads Hermansen all likely to make their competitive debuts from the start.

Plus, Stephy Mavididi should be on the bench after completing his move from Montpellier.

The visitors will be without Callum O'Hare and Fabio Tavares, who are both recovering from long-term issues.

But they have spent a good chunk of money this summer and will likely start new striker Ellis Simms.

Bobby Thomas, Jay Dasilva and Brad Collins are among the names who could make their Coventry debuts.
