France's scary depth: A possible team made up of absent players

France are undoubtedly among the favourites for the upcoming World Cup in Qatar as Didier Deschamps' men look to defend their crown.

Les Bleus have it all, experience, quality and depth. In fact, Deschamps has such an incredible array of talent to pick from that even a team made up of players not in his current squad would make a formidable side.

Last week, the French head coach selected 23 players to compete in this week's Nations League games against Austria and Denmark.

There are a number of new faces in the squad, including first call-ups for Adrien Truffert, Alban Lafont, Randal Kolo Muani, Benoit Badiashile and Youssouf Fofana.

Whether due to injury or tactical decision - the boss may be using this chance to run the rule over some less experienced players - a host of big name players have missed out this time.
